How to set the Icon of main window/body ?

I have the image in png format how do I set this file as icon for my main window/body ?

You need to embed the png image into an icon.svg file, which will automatically be used as the app icon. See the bottom of https://www.cogentcore.org/core/advanced/icons for more information on svg embed-image.

You need to run the app using core run (or build it using core build) for it to include the icon; that is how it embeds the icon.

I tried with core build and core run also but is not changing

is there any api to set the icon ?

You can set core.AppIcon directly. For example, you could embed your icon using //go:embed into a string variable and then set core.AppIcon to that at the start of your main function.
