Squad without Copilot possible?

I'm using Squad daily with Copilot, but recently Copilot changed their usage prices a lot.
Are there plans to make Squad less dependent on Copilot?

There has been discussion about it, technically much of the work could be reworked into other tools, assuming they offer features for running sub agents, but at this time it's not a priority.

To some extent, it works Well with glm-4.7-flash running on my 3070 Ti 8gb; but it's Slow.
