could focus ring and shadow fade animations be added?

The idea

I have been working on a prototype on my own machine that implements these two features with substantial help from AI. this prototype adds focus ring alpha fading and shadow colour fading (which interpolates between active and inactive colour). I tried several iterations and tested extensively in nested sessions, but, if i am being honest, i do not really know what the entirety of the code does.

The synced branch passes the workspace tests, Clippy, formatting, build, and config validation, and simulated 2 output tests seem to work, but i only own one monitor and cannot test this in reality.
