Native/offline mobile companion app — worth exploring, or does OpenHamClock cover this ground already? #1143

Hi accius — hope things are going well since the accessibility work earlier this year.
I've been sketching out a separate Android app (working name BandScout) focused specifically on portable operators (SOTA/POTA/BOTA/WWFF) checking band conditions in the field — native, offline-capable once launched, TalkBack-accessible from the ground up. Before I put real effort into it, I wanted to check with you directly rather than assume there's a gap: OpenHamClock already covers a lot of this territory (band conditions, POTA/SOTA, space weather) and runs in a mobile browser already.
Is a native/offline companion something that would be useful to OpenHamClock, or does it not fit the project's direction? I don't want to duplicate effort if there's a better way to contribute this within OpenHamClock itself — happy to go either way, just wanted to ask before committing to a separate app.
Many thanks, Chris
