X-jat is only for anidb and you haven't given the source priority, language priority nor the series specific logs that would have shown available in both anidb and thetvdb metadata sources for this series.... |

Okay, let's see....Here's the entirety of the in-plex settings. Everything seems to have AniDB as a priority except for actors, ratings and other such things. |

T-EM 'title' Wtf is that dot after "en", should be a comma.. Title for eps is thetvdb first but anidb for series name |

Removed the period, replaced with comma...episode title has both, Even made a whole new library to test with, in case it was keeping the current data. It's also not taking from the AniDB posters it seems. Anyway, I got the console log for updating the metadata for an episode. |

You need to look at the series specific agent logs in the los subfolder with the library name |

Oh THERE they are. Sorry, I really didn't know where to look for the logs, I was looking at the PMS logs, not in /plug-in support. I'd add the amsa logs to compare but uh.....it doesn't seem to make any... |

I was trying everything it could be to try to get a hit on the right one. I'll try what you said aaannnd....Hmmm. Interesting, that fixed it...eventually. It looked like it wasn't fixed but then all of a sudden it was. Well, thank you! Now I can finally fix these episodes and seasons~ You may want to fix the readme to show jat/x-jat instead of 'Jap', which is what sent me down the wrong path in the first place. (Oh, also, as a small aside, if the filename has the episode title in it, and said title includes 'ending' or 'opening', Hama/ASS seems to think that it's an opening/ending and dumps it into Specials.) |

The numbering was entirely consistent with everything else, 001 through 197 or something. It was missing the |

I've tried every combination of language setting I can think of, but there's no halfway between kanji and just dub titles. Asking specifically about Pokemon, which is being a pain in the butt in general, but applicable to a lot of other shows that also have network TV dubs with terrible names.
my current attempt is to set the episode and series naming priority to
x-jat, x-jap, jat, jap, main, en, ja. And I know that the romanized versions of the titles exist, because AMSA picked them up fine - but that has its own problems that I'm fighting with.All reactions
