Be decent. Assume good faith. Criticise code and ideas, not people.
This applies in the issue tracker, pull requests, discussions, and anywhere else someone is representing the project.
- Treat disagreement as normal and resolve it with evidence. This project has a measurement harness precisely so that "I think this fires on real users" can become "here is the run where it does".
- Accept that a maintainer may decline a change, and that a contributor may decline to make one.
- Respect that people arrive with different levels of context. A question that seems obvious to you is usually not obvious to the person asking.
Harassment, personal attacks, demeaning comments, unwelcome sexual attention, publishing others' private information, and sustained disruption.
A note specific to this project: FCaptcha exists partly to keep automated systems away from real people, and some contributions concern evasion techniques. Discuss them technically. Do not use the project's spaces to organise abuse of anyone else's site.

Consequences scale with the conduct, from a request to stop, to removal of comments, to a ban. There is no appeals bureaucracy here; there is a small project trying to be a reasonable place to contribute to.
