Settings: the local device identity, pairing records, selected receiver, capture preferences, shortcut, and receive history metadata. The settings module owns committed changes; readers receive independent snapshots.
-
Paired device: a PC with a shared secret protected by Windows DPAPI on this PC.
-
Selected receiver: the paired PC targeted by the send or remote screenshot shortcut.
-
Receive history: saved incoming PNG files and their metadata, newest first, with the configured retention limit.
-
Pending history cleanup: persisted filenames whose history metadata was removed and whose files can be deleted. Cleanup failures are retried after restart or another history operation.
-
Screenshot transfer: an authenticated screenshot delivery or remote-capture request whose connection, deadline, and completion are owned by the transfer module.
-
Request freshness: a signed timestamp within the accepted window and a canonical nonce not previously reserved for that paired device and request kind in this running receiver.
-
Required receipt effects: receive history commit followed by clipboard copying; both must complete before acknowledgement.
-
Optional receipt presentation: notification, preview, and status updates after required receipt effects; failures warn and presentation work is canceled and joined at shutdown.
-
Selected receiver action: one send or remote-capture operation using a settings snapshot and a resolved paired receiver. Concurrent triggers return busy.
