Missing paramater type documentation for 'symbol definition' type.

When developing, I noticed an input parameter type of 'symbol definition'.
However, there is no mention of this on the 'Plug-in Parameter Type.md' documentation page.

I imagine this is for allowing the user to input a symbol definition before execution.
Which is exactly what I want/need, but for the moment it seems like it does nothing.

Is this a feature planned for the future? Or is there some way I can start using this?

Hah … I was trying to figure this out for hours now! And effectively, doesn't work with material, either.
