[Feature]: Alternative ways to open a QuickBar
#73
QuickBar Overlay, Remote Control (Accessibility / Navigation etc.)
The Problem
It would be useful to have alternative ways to open a QuickBar without enabling QuickBars’ accessibility service.
For example, I use Button Mapper for my remote mappings. Apps handling the same remote buttons can interfere with one another, so I would prefer to let it handle button presses and launch a QuickBars shortcut.
The Proposed Solution
Provide Android shortcuts that open a chosen QuickBar directly. Any app or launcher supporting shortcuts could use them; Button Mapper is just one example. This should also work when QuickBars isn't already running.
I have a working implementation, created with ChatGPT/Codex, which I have personally installed and tested successfully as a debug app on my Mi Box. I have also read through the code. This post was also drafted with Codex.
Would this feature fit the project? I'd like to discuss it before preparing a pull request.
Readiness Check
I have confirmed this isn't already a feature/setting in the app by also searching the guide.
I understand that this is an open-source project managed alongside a full-time job and B.Sc. studies by Omri, and PRs and Issues may take some time.
I am willing to help provide more information upon request, and test beta builds of this feature.
