This document explains where to get help.
Read our Code of Conduct before participating. By interacting with our repositories and organizations, you agree to abide by its terms.
- Questions, ideas, and open-ended conversations belong in Discussions.
- Bugs and feature requests belong in the issue tracker of the repository in question.
- Security vulnerabilities follow our Security Policy. Never report them publicly.
Help us help you. The time you spend framing a question is almost always less than the time everyone spends untangling a vague one.
- Search first. Someone may have asked already.
- Talk to a duck before you hit send.
- Watch out for the XY problem. Tell us what you are actually trying to achieve, not only the approach you got stuck on.
- Say what you expected to happen, and what happened instead.
- Include a minimal reproduction. A link to a repository or a runnable snippet beats a description.
- Include versions: the package, the language runtime, and the operating system.
- Paste errors and logs as text. Screenshots are welcome, but not as a replacement for text.
