After running custom script from the batch file, dropping a file on a shortcut defaults to move instead of copy. I checked the registry editor and changed the files under lnkfile but that didn't fix it. I also I restored the backup and it didn't fix it. Google says the default should always be copy and there shouldn't be any way to change it. |

Heya, I'm not sure what you mean by dropping a file on a shortcut, but if I recall correctly Windows defaults to move if you drag a file to the same drive, and copy if you drag it to a different drive. Win11Debloat does not change this behaviour. |

Sorry, I done some testing and the problem was that my desktop was in Admin\OneDrive\Desktop and I was copying files to a shortcut on my desktop linking to Admin\Photos. Windows has the same copy vs. move rules with external or network drives like OneDrive. The confusion occured because I deleted onedrive and ran the script on the same day in an efficiency craze.
