Include descriptions of the following in the design doc:
- The thesis, ie. core objectives and desired functionality. Include what assumptions have been made in the model.
- Options that have some overlap with this library's core concerns in the expected settings. Must answer why this needs to exist.
- How this library aims to provide the desired functionality. Must build a mental model and provide core concepts and how they interact
- What can still change, ie. things that are undecided and/or unknown
- If relevant, discuss approaches that weren't taken and why
