Describe the feature

Allow users to add custom images as Home page sections.

Currently, Home supports pinned sections from extensions (Most Bookmarked, Latest Updates, etc.). This feature would add a new section type called "Custom Image".

Two display modes could be supported:

Banner

Displays a wide image at the top of the Home page above other pinned sections.

Screen

Displays a large image section that fills most or all of the screen. Users can scroll down to view additional Home sections below it.

This would allow users to personalize their Home page with wallpapers, manga artwork, series logos, or custom images.

Feature Motivation

This feature would improve personalization and make better use of empty Home screen space.

Many users enjoy customizing their reading experience. Allowing custom images would let users create themed Home pages using their favorite manga, manhwa, or anime artwork.

Benefits include:

  • Greater Home page customization
  • More visually appealing Home screens
  • Better use of otherwise empty space
  • Optional feature that does not affect existing workflows
  • Fits naturally into the existing pinned section system

For users with no pinned sections, a custom image could make the Home page feel less empty and more welcoming.
