Code of Conduct

OpenLinker projects should be useful, respectful, and focused on the work.

Expected Behavior

  • Be direct and constructive.
  • Assume public comments will be read by contributors with different levels of context and experience.
  • Keep criticism technical, specific, and actionable.
  • Respect maintainers' decisions about scope, security, and release timing.
  • Avoid sharing private information, secrets, credentials, or live customer data in issues, discussions, pull requests, or logs.

Unacceptable Behavior

  • Harassment, threats, personal attacks, or discriminatory language.
  • Publishing another person's private information.
  • Posting real secrets, tokens, customer data, or exploit details in public channels.
  • Repeatedly derailing technical discussions after maintainers ask to move on.

Reporting

Report conduct concerns to the maintainers through the project's published support channel. Report vulnerabilities through the process in SECURITY.md, not through public issues.

Maintainers may edit, hide, or remove content and may limit participation when needed to keep the project safe and productive.
