Send (sms?) alternate provider info to caller

Need to get and know how to use alternate providers. How do we determine which alternative providers to give to the caller? Based on service area, case classification, or other factors?

• Need to try to integrate into Dialpad for texting so we can send a text with additional information.

We do not have texting capabilities in LegalServer yet, but staff and our intake unit, LawLine, can text using Dialpad.  I'm sure we could get texting set up one way or the other.

Outside of VA:  https://www.lsc.gov/ is fine.  The person can go there and find the Get Legal Help link on the site.
Inside VA:  https://www.valegalaid.org/ is fine by itself.
Criminal/Traffic:  https://www.vsb.org/ is fine.  The person should easily be able to go there and get the Lawyer Referral Number.

Hi Leslie,

I was just thinking that some of these URLs would be hard to share over the phone. Do you have texting capabilities? It occurred to me that being able to have the bot text the caller (with permission), would be a cool way of getting them this information. Otherwise, it might be easier to verbally point them to just one website depending on their situation.

LSC mentions https://www.lawhelp.org/, is this a good resource for out of VA? It would be easy to say over the phone.

Then I think that https://www.valegalaid.org/ would be an easy phone URL for in VA but out of service area and for Criminal Issues.

I'm not as sure for traffic. I feel like [Virginia Lawyer Referral Service](https://www.vsb.org/Site/Site/legal-help/vlrs.aspx) would be good, but the URL is horrible for voice: https://www.vsb.org/Site/Site/legal-help/vlrs.aspx
