Hello, I'm interested in calibrating the forest and arable land areas for the years 2000-2015 using more precise national statistics. Could you please provide any guidance or tips for Moirai starters?

@debibooo Sorry for the delayed response. Are the data simply values for each country? They are not gridded?

The land type area output file can be adjusted with national level values, but some assumptions would have to be made regarding how to distribute these changes across the basins and availability classes. And more assumptions about how the other land types are adjusted to accommodate the forest and pasture changes.

Basically, you would use the output land type mapping file to identify the numerical land type ids in the land type area file, and then make changes to the desired country records.
