I'm wondering if anyone has successfully reset the waste ink counter on an Epson L8050.
The L8050 is listed as a supported device, but I haven't been able to reset it successfully.
I followed the instructions in the README, but it didn't work for me.
My setup:
- Printer: Epson L8050
- Connection: USB
- Printer status: "Replace the maintenance box" (waste ink box full)
When I run ez-reset and open "usb/xxx" line, it displays the waste ink level as -1%. It also shows six ink columns, but they have no labels or colors.
After clicking Reset All, the software reports that the reset was successful. However, after turning the printer off and back on, the printer still shows the same "Replace the maintenance box" error, and nothing has changed.
Has anyone successfully reset an Epson L8050? If so, could you share your setup or let me know if I'm missing any steps?
