Creating an Exercise

    • Weights: How many points each activity earns when placed in each phase (0–100)
  5. Click Apply (or Publish) to create a live exercise with a unique Exercise ID

  • Shows remaining unplaced cards

Right panel — Phase Columns:

  • One column per phase (e.g. Planning, Due Diligence, Construction, Operations)
  • Drag a card from the left and drop it into the correct phase column
  • A card can go into multiple phases if it belongs in more than one

  2. The Submit button activates when XX / XX placed shows all cards placed
  3. Click Submit
  4. You'll immediately see your score and per-card feedback

Understanding Your Score

  • Phase Breakdown: For each phase, which cards were correct (✓), partially correct (◐), or wrong (✗)
    • Green — placed in the primary phase for this activity

FAQ

Q: I entered the wrong Exercise ID — what do I do?
Go back to the exercise selection page and enter the correct ID. If you started the exercise with the wrong ID, you can return to the dashboard and try again.

Q: I accidentally placed a card in the wrong phase — can I move it?
Yes — drag it to the correct column, or click the × button to return it to the activity pool on the left.

Q: Can I leave mid-exercise and come back?
Yes — click Save Draft before leaving. Your placements will be saved. When you return, they'll load automatically.

Q: I submitted but want to change my answers before resubmitting — can I?
Yes, as long as the exercise isn't locked. After the first submission you can still move cards around before clicking Resubmit. After resubmitting, the exercise locks permanently.

Q: I don't see any exercises in My Exercises — why?
You may not be enrolled in an instructor's class yet. Ask your instructor for a join code and enter it in your profile, or have them invite you by email.

Q: The Submit button is greyed out — why?
All activity cards must be placed in at least one phase before you can submit. Check the counter (e.g., 24 / 26 placed) — scroll through the activity list to find any remaining unplaced cards.

Q: My session expired — what do I do?
Log out and log back in. Sessions use Cognito JWTs which expire after a set period.
